How to earn your Starter Kit for free!

Have you pondered from time to time what it would be like to do what I do?  To have a “job” where you actually have fun?  Is money the only thing holding you back? Well, yeah, you might say, it's not the "only" thing--but it's a big thing for me!

For a lot of us, even the low Starter Kit price of $99 bucks and free shipping is hard to spare right now. If we could spread it out a bit, it might happen, but not all at once! If that's the case, I have a little math for you to try today.

Math?!!... I know, I know!! But this is easy math. FUN math--and yes there is such a thing!
Come with me! Right this way, please:
  1. $100 is the Instant Income from just one $500 workshop.
  2. Say you were to host a party together with me, and it hit $500.
  3. We sign up you up and you put the Starter Kit on your credit card.
  4. You are instantly a brand new Stampin' Up Demonstrator.
  5. We enter the orders from your party under your name.
  6. You pay off the Starter Kit on your credit card with the $100 you just earned.
I know---beyond awesome! But wait--there's more!
  1. You get to pick out $156.50 worth of product in the Starter Kit for just $99 plus tax (no shipping).
  2. You're still the hostess for that party even though you're now the demonstrator, too--so pick out your hostess freebies and your incredible Sale A Bration rewards.
  3. Your quarterly minimum of $300 is met so you'll be active all the way through June 2013.
  4. You get all the perks of preordering, demo-only forums and galleries, magazine and more.
  5. You are halfway to promoting to Senior Associate already.
  6. You will be earning a Volume Rebate for selling more than $400 for the month, an additional 5% of your total sales that is direct deposited into your checking account the following month.
  7. You have me as your totally awesome upline and mentor.
But wait, you say--how come I get the sales if YOU did the party?

The answer is simple--you're going to do the work!

Before the show, you and I will meet and decide on the Make N Takes and prep three super cute projects your friends will love. I'll spot you the cardstock and supplies as my welcome gift to you. We'll brainstorm on the best ways to get the maximum number of guests there so your party is likely to hit that magic $500.
At the show, you'll help me set up (I'll let you decide if you want to wear one of my black Stampin' Up aprons) and you'll walk everyone through the cards with my help (if you even need it!). I'll handle the catalog tour and telling them about the specials and you can observe.
After the show, I'll total the orders while you serve the snacks and chat with your friends. If any of them are interested in helping you out by hosting a party themselves, we'll put them on your calendar. You can pay me back for any catalogs or hostess packet materials out of your own kit when it comes.

Sound like something that really ought to be tried? It is.
You have nothing to lose.

After all, if your party doesn't hit $500:
  1. You can just be the hostess like you normally would, and earn hostess goodies and Sale A Bration rewards as usual.
  2. We still had a super fun night stamping with your girlfriends.
  3. I'm not out anything that I wouldn't normally be out from any party.
  4. You could still sign up as a demo and just pay whatever portion of the Starter Kit isn't covered, or ask your family to consider that your birthday or anniversary gift.
  5. We don't have to tell anyone we are trying to get your Starter Kit for free unless you want to.
When it is all typed out like this, it almost takes my breath away, how incredibly wonderful this opportunity is, especially right now with Sale A Bration making the Starter kit an even better deal than it has EVER been. I hope you do give me a call.

Because this could be the day you did something amazing.

And it cost you nothing but a little dreaming.

Do you dare?

Just Beautiful!

I love to share more than just my paper crafting.  When I capture something beautiful on my camera, I will share it with you,  because these are things we shouldn't miss and are worth sharing!  I noticed as I glanced out the window yesterday evening, the color seemed different .  I walked outside and the sky was so pretty.  The sun was already down, but had left the the painted clouds.  I have seen much more gorgeous sunsets, but the sky last night just struck me as soft and beautiful.

Once the color had faded away in the west, I looked to the east and there was the moon.  I thought this was really pretty also!

Oh, Hello!

I thought you might enjoy a few cards from the Oh, Hello Stamp Set,  It is in the Spring Catalog and is sold alone or as a bundle with the Oval Framelits.  My post yesterday featured this set on the 3 x 3 note cards.  Just love it!

Box with Note Cards

This is the project I demoed on Stage Saturday at the Dallas Regional.  I got he idea from France Martin.  I copied her box and her note cards to use as a display for my Sale-a-bration Kickoff event.  When I was asked to be a presenter at Regional, I decided to show this project, but I came up with my own note cards, because I wanted to put this together as a bundle, so you could get the Simply Sent Card Kit FREE!

I decided to use our Tea for Two DSP, The Oh Hello Stamp set and the Oval Framelits for these little note cards.  I used So Saffron, Baja Breeze, Lucky Limeade and Early Espresso Markers and a little Crochet Trim.  Notice that I covered the flaps of my envelopes with coordinating DSP.  I made the six card below to put in this cute little box.

So this is what you would order to get the Happy Hello card kit FREE. The Bundle includes the stamp set AND the Framelits.  You would just need some Whisper White card stock cut 3 x 6 to make your note cards and some markers or ink pads to stamp with and you could make this project!  These little note cards are perfect to tuck into a gift bag or  a lunch box.  Place one in a book someone is reading with a special note to them or leave one on a coworkers desk to let them know you are thinking of them.  The whole set would make a perfect little gift.

This is the Happy Hello Card Kit

It is designed to make these cards

Or you can add card stock or other embellishments or greetings!  Make them your own or make them simple as they were intended!

Umbre Dyed Ribbon

You have all seen the new color fad...Umbre right?  Colors that blend together from dark to light.  Did you know you can dye our natural Cotton Ribbon?  You can also stamp on it!  The Natural 7/8" ribbon was introduced in our Holiday Catalog, but is still available in the Spring Catalog.  This is so much fun!  I learned this at the Dallas Regional this past week end.  So here is how you do it.....
Start with the length of Cotton Ribbon you need for your project, 3 Markers in different shades, and an Aqua Painter

Color one side of ribbon with the lightest color

Color the center with the next lightest color

Then color the other edge with the darker of the three

Now take your Aqua Painter and blend the colors together.  You will need to get it pretty wet and just blend until you like the way it looks

Now flip it over and wet the back side so the color bleeds through

You can let it air dry or use your Heat Tool.  The Heat tool works great and because the ribbon is cotton it won't melt or get wavy on you.

In this picture I am doing a long length of ribbon in shades of pink.  Because it was much longer than the piece above, I actually sprayed a little water on it and then blended with the Aqua Painter.

I stamped one of our cute little Kraft gift boxes with Versa Mark using the Secret Garden Stamp set

The tag was made using the 2 1/2 inch Circle Punch and the Secret Garden Stamp set and Framelits.  There is a Dahlia attached to the center of the cut out flower.  The Sentiment is from the stamp set Sassy Salutations.

Isn't this a nice little gift box to give someone?
So what do you think about the umbre ribbon?  Pretty cute Huh?  And it is so easy!  You can create any color combination you want with our awesome markers!
