Fabric Business Card Holder and more pens!

I am slowly working on more pens, as I want to have nice amount to take to convention to swap for 3-D projects! So here are a few more pictures.  I have also been using the Twitterpated Fabric. I will continue to work on these as I can.

I also found this idea on Pinterest!  It is a fabric Business Card Holder.  Super easy to make!  I used the Summer Smooches Fabric.  I just love this fabric.  It is so bright and cheery!

Sewing Scissor Pouches

I have been busy today making Pouches for our Paper Snips.  I found the idea on a demonstrator's blog.  She gave instructions on how to make them and I printed it off, but it was awhile back and I don't remember who it was.  So sorry.  Her name is not on the print out I have.  But I love the idea, it is brilliant!.  She used the Dresden Pattern Die and the Big Shot.  Hers were made with our Twitterpated fabric and the pleated stain ribbon that was sold in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I decided to use the Summer Smooches Fabric (love it!).  I also used the Blossom Party Die to make the little flowers and sewed them on with a Bold Bright Desighner Button.

Shhhh....I am giving these as part of my room mate gifts at convention!

Fabric Flower Pens!

I made 2 of these cute pens today!  I think these are going to be my 3-D swaps for convention!  I found the idea on Pinterest, but used Stampin' Up! Fabric.  This fabric is the Summer Smooched Fabric. It is in the NEW Catalog that will be live as of June 1st!  I am going to make some more with some of our other new fabrics.  I will post them when I get them done.

Masculine Card Class

Good morning.  I am sorry I am just now posting!  I got busy cleaning my stamp room and ran out of time to create until last night!  But it needed to be done.  I feel I can actually work in there now!  Anyway, I wanted to post 3 of the cards we will be making Friday night.  You will make a total of 10 cards. Two each of 5 designs!  It really is wonderful to have some manly cards on hand!  This is where I am always lacking in my stash of cards.  You can still sign up!!  Just call or email me by Wednesday. You will have a good time and leave with 10 cards!! And if you place a $25 min. order you get $10 off your class fee!

These are cards I found that other demonstrators created.  But I took them and tweaked them to my liking by changing the layout, colors, paper, stamps, etc.  The originals were beautiful also, but I like to put my own spin on cards I find.  Sometimes I copy them exactly.  This is the beauty of sharing ideas.  If you don't have time to sit and think up something you can always find a sample somewhere to copy, whether on our Demonstrator only website, blogs, or swaps.  And of course our Catalog is an excellent source for getting ideas.

My Mother's Day

Saturday evening after we were all done with the shower, my girls took me out for Mother's Day.  We went to a Tapas Restaurant over in the Knox Henderson area.  We had Tapas and Sangria.  Yum!  We walked around for awhile, checked out Crate & Barrel, and a couple of other stores, then went to a Mexican Restaurant, Fernando's.  We had more appetizers and a margarita!  It was fun. My girls are the best!!

Sunday, Mother's Day we had a small cook out with Jen and Rion.  Megan had to work.  I had to share these pics of Kellan's first experience with corn on the cob.  It was so funny to watch him. He is so adorable!

Bird Themed Baby Shower

My daughter Megan and I gave my youngest daughter Jennifer a baby shower this past Saturday.  I have been planning it for months now and it was planned for outdoors.  Well, all who live in our area know what happened Friday....it rained and poured ALL day!  I was beside myself.  But we kept preparing and hoping that Saturday would be OK.  We went to bed late, got up early to set up and finish preparing the food.  It rained again!  Just a little, but it did put us behind a bit.  The shower started at 10 am.  I was pretty stressed, but it all went beautifully and everyone enjoyed it.  I love planning and creating parties!  It is so much fun!  Sometimes stressful, but still fun! I wanted to share some pictures with you.
