All done with Swaps!

I finally finished my swaps this morning.  I had to skip my exercise time in order to get these done before I went to work. : (  But yea! they are ready to pack!

So, I got my suitcases down from thwe attic this weekend and put them in the living room ready to pack.  I finally got to it late Sunday afternoon.  I unzipped my suitcase and started taking out the shoebags, the laundry bag, etc. that I store in my bag.  But amongst all of that was a gift bag.  I though, "I don't remember leaving a gift bag in here".  I picked it up and there was a gift in it!  And a Card!  I opened it and it was from my sweet husband.  He found the bag which I had made at one time and the card he found in my stamp room, (I thought it looked very familiar when I took it out of the envelope).  I had recently run out of my favorite perfume. If you know me well, you know I love to wear perfume and Samsara is my scent. So he bought me a new bottle so I would have it for my trip.  I am sharing his note with you because he is the sweetest man and the best husband ever!  I am so blessed to have him in my life.

 And did you notice he wrote his note on a seperate piece of paper so the card could be reuesed?!  : )

Just some things I love

I took a few minutes to sit in my backyard yesterday moring and just enjoy what was around me.  I like to photograph odds and ends.  So here are a few things I observed.

Founder's Circle Swap

I leave Wednesday morning for Southern Utah! Founder's Circle is held in St. George and it just beautiful there.  I was blessed to get this trip last year and again this year.  Thank you, thank you all my loyal customers who helped me acheive this honor.  The top 100 demonstrators in the company earn this trip each year.  I am very excited.  I signed up to do a zip line/repelling trip!  I will post pictures as I can.  But for today I wanted to show you my swap for this event. I have to make 120 of these little babies!  I am still not done, as you can see, so I am getting a little worried.  I have Hostess Club tonight and I work at my other job today and tomorrow, so that only leaves me tomorrow morning and tomorrow evening.  I really don't want to be up all night the night before I leave, but if I am, I am. : )

This is a gift card holder made with the Big Shot and the Top Note Die.  I used the single stamp Star Tree, Cherry Cobbler and Gumball Green Card Stock and Silver Embossing Powder.  The verse is from More Merry Messages.

Birthday Party for Justus

Yesterday was my grandson Justus's birthday.  His mom had his party at the park.  He wanted a Star Wars party!  Jennifer made his cake.  The kids had a lot of fun playing together. After the party he got to come home with Granny and Papa to spend the night.  Can you believe he was willing to leave all the new loot  at home and come with his Granny and Papa?  He was excited to stay with us.  We had homemade chili for dinner (which he kept telling me how good it was), played Wahoo and watched movies.  I love spending time with him! He is such a blessing to me. He is so much like my son when he was a little boy.  I am so grateful Andrea shares him with us. Thank you Andrea!

My daughter stopped in for a few minutes yesterday with the babies.  Tim was washing out a paint brush and sharing the water hose with Kellan.  He loves water and was enjoying getting wet and cooling off!

Little Everleigh wishes she were being sprayed!  She has a heat rash going on. Poor little thing.

Sweet Music

I was working in my office upstairs and I kept hearing the sweetest music out side my window.  I got my camera and went outside and there were 2 of them.  I only got a picture of the one.

This is Justus last Monday.  I picked him up from his first day of Kindergarten and he came home with me for a while.  He is going to be 6 this Saturday!  He is growing up too fast!  He is a sweetheart.
