Stampin' Up! Convention 2013!

I got back home today from Salt Lake City!  It was so much fun.  I love spending time with friends, old and new.  Some I only see once or twice a year, others are local and I see often, but when we all come together it is a good time!  Here are a few pictures of me and some of my friends having a grand time at convention.  I will post some cards and projects through out the week and I am busy working on some new classes and events that you are going to LOVE!  So get ready for some exciting new things to come your way!!

Had my picture take in the Recognition room.

This was the Recognition room.  All award recipients had special access to this room.  We could go in any time, relax have a soft drink and visit with other reward recipients.  Rolanda and I had the privilege this year.  It was nice, but I was so busy, I didn't have a lot of time to spend here.

This was our "generation" Picture.  (Right to Left) Debra recruited Rolanda, who recruited Elaine(not present), who recruited me, who recruited Jennifer, who recruited Lillian.  So this is 5 levels of current active Stampin' Up! demonstrators.

Convention Swap

I am off to Salt Lake City!  Stampin' Up! is celebrating 25 years, so this convention is going to be awesome!!!

This is my swap this year.  I usually do a variety and a lot more than 100, but due to my neck and arm problem, I did good to get these done!

Can't wait to share with you when I return!

I used the new IN COLORS.  Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe and Coastal Cabana.  The butterfly is punched from CS Vellum with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.  I textured the Butterfly with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  The white piece and the DSP are cut from the new Deco Label Collection Framelits.  A simple card, but cute!

This is such a cute book to showcase a vacation or weekend trip. You make the whole book using coaster board, card stock, designer paper, and our new Tag A Bag gift bags. The class fee includes all your supplies, plus your own stamp set- Around the World and a roll of sticky strip. If you already own this stamp set, you may substitute another for the same price.  You will love this little book! It is so darn cute; you will want to show it off to everyone!

Here are a few pages in the book, so you can see how cute this is.  I have added pictures to mine, but I haven't added titles or journaling yet.  This was our trip to Hawaii a couple of years ago.  I had never scrapped them, so I pulled out theses pics and put as many as I could fit into this little book!  It was so fun to make.

Watching the Moon

A little late, but wanted to share a couple of pictures I took on the 23rd when the moon was full and big and beautiful.  I got to have my grandson Justus for the day and he spent the night with us.  We went swimming, made a volcano, ate ice cream and went out to the lake to watch this wonderful moon rise.  I didn't have a tripod, so these could have been much better.
